Post-production is Urban Angles' engine room — the workflow connecting field capture to final delivery. Every image passes through the in-house team for retouching, editing and quality management before it reaches DREAM, which is how thousands of campaigns a year hold one consistent standard.
What happens here
Image Retouching — specialist retouching from tonal adjustment through to full scene reconstruction, including the street appeal enhancement builders rely on.
Post-production also powers the virtual products — virtual dusk and virtual styling are created here — and processes every proofing selection, markup and floor plan change request that comes through DREAM.
The retouching spectrum
Not every image needs the same treatment, and the range runs further than most people expect:
- Tonal adjustment — exposure, colour and contrast balanced across the set so a campaign reads as one shoot
- Street appeal enhancement — the exterior treatment builders rely on across display ranges
- Scene refinement — sky, lawn and light corrections that present the property at its best
- Full scene reconstruction — the deep end, for images needing substantial rework
Why in-house post-production matters
Keeping retouching inside the business rather than outsourcing it is a deliberate choice.
It's what makes next-business-day standard turnaround possible — there is no third party in the chain to queue behind — and it's why an image shot in Brighton looks as flawless as one shot in Brisbane: one quality bar, enforced by one team, regardless of who captured the raw frame.
It is also what allows the compressed Express and Super X tiers to exist at all. Those are a scheduling decision inside the business, not a subcontracting one.
The workflow
Capture on site → proofs by 10am the next business day (when proofing is ordered) → client selections and markups via DREAM → retouching and quality control → final delivery into DREAM in web and high resolution.
Every asset is checked before release, which is the step that catches the inconsistency a single retoucher working alone would miss.
