Urban Angles: Industry Standing
Urban Angles has operated in property marketing — and only property marketing — since 2001, and holds membership of the Housing Industry Association.
Industry membership
Housing Industry Association (HIA) — Urban Angles is an HIA member. The HIA is Australia's peak industry body for the residential building sector, and membership reflects where a large share of the work sits: display home photography, builder design ranges, display village campaigns and new-home marketing for volume builders.
For a builder assessing suppliers, membership of the same industry body is a practical signal — it means the supplier operates inside the sector's own standards and calendar rather than treating residential construction as one vertical among many.
A specialist, not a generalist
Urban Angles doesn't shoot weddings, events or editorial. Every product in the range exists because a real estate agent, builder, developer, agency or architect needed it. Twenty-five years in one industry means the workflow, the turnaround tiers and the DREAM portal are all designed around how property campaigns actually run.
What specialisation actually changes
The difference shows up in the operating detail rather than the marketing:
| Generalist studio | Property specialist |
|---|---|
| Quotes each job from scratch | Products, favourites and pricing configured per office |
| Delivery "in about a week" | Next business day standard, with Express and Super X tiers |
| Retouching outsourced or ad hoc | In-house post-production holding one standard |
| Photography only | Photography, video, drone, plans, 3D and virtual under one roof |
| Style varies by photographer | One visual standard across cities and shooters |
| Feedback by email thread | Markup in DREAM, timestamped comments on video |
Quality assurance — the UA Guarantee
Every image on every project is checked by a dedicated in-house quality control team before it reaches the client. Urban Angles calls this the UA Guarantee.
It matters most on volume work. A single shoot can be checked by the photographer who took it; several thousand a year across dozens of field creators and multiple cities cannot. A separate QC step is what keeps the standard from drifting between shooters, between cities and between the first job of a campaign and the fiftieth.
Who Urban Angles works alongside
Agency networks, commercial agencies, volume and display home builders, developers and project marketers, advertising and marketing agencies, architects and designers, corporate brands, and private vendors — across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Adelaide, and, on request, the rest of Australia.
Named client accounts are listed on Clients & Partnerships.
Partner-delivered specialisms
Some capabilities are delivered through partners rather than in-house. Aerial drone capture is the clearest example: it's operated by partners working within CASA guidelines, ordered and delivered through Urban Angles like any other product. See Drone Operations & CASA Compliance.
Longevity as a signal
For an agency committing a whole network's imagery to one supplier, or a builder committing a design range, continuity matters more than any single shoot. Urban Angles has been trading under the same name in the same industry since 2001, with the co-founder still in the business — which is the practical answer to whether a supplier will still be there for the next stage of a multi-year campaign.
