Urban Angles: Interactive Floor Plans
An interactive floor plan lets a buyer engage with a property's layout online rather than reading a static image — moving through the plan and connecting spaces to the campaign's imagery. It's the plan format for listings and display ranges that warrant a richer online experience.
Static plan, interactive experience
Interactive plans are built on the same foundation as Urban Angles' standard plans: measured on site, drawn accurately, and branded and styled to match your business. The interactive layer adds navigation — a buyer explores rooms and levels at their own pace, building a spatial understanding no static plan delivers.
Indicative pricing
From $50 inc GST as an indicative real estate rate for the interactive layer, added to the underlying floor plan (from $195). It is one of the least expensive upgrades in the range, which is what makes it viable across a whole display range rather than just a hero listing. Commercial and rental rates differ and are confirmed at booking.
Where interactive plans work hardest
- Larger and multi-level homes — where a single flat plan undersells the layout
- Display home ranges — letting buyers compare designs room by room online
- Off-the-plan campaigns — paired with interior renders to make an unbuilt home navigable
Interactive plan or virtual tour?
They overlap, and the difference is what each is built from. An interactive floor plan is a drawing with navigation added — it communicates layout, dimensions and flow, and works whether or not the property is built. A virtual tour is captured photography of a real, finished space — it communicates atmosphere, finish and condition, and needs the property to exist and to present well.
On an off-the-plan campaign the interactive plan is the only option. On a completed prestige listing the virtual tour usually wins. On a display range, many builders run both: the plan for comparing designs, the tour for the one that's actually built.
Revisions and change requests
As with all Urban Angles plans, amendments are marked up through DREAM's comment flow, and changes go straight to post-production.
