It is also where the studio and post-production operations sit, which makes it the market with the deepest local capacity and the shortest chain between capture and delivery.

The full product range runs in Melbourne:

What being the home market changes
Two things, practically.
Scheduling depth. More field capacity in one city means tighter booking windows and more room to absorb a weather-affected reschedule — which matters most for dusk and aerial work, the two most weather-sensitive products.
Proximity to post-production. Capture and retouching happen in the same city, which is part of why the published turnaround tiers hold: Standard delivers close of business the next business day after the shoot, Express by midday, and Super X by 9am.
